UPDATE: After 2 months and a little bit of procrastination I have finally completed the c2c blanket! I am so excited to share it with you, my readers, because it turned out a lot better than I expected. I really hope to encourage you all to try your hand at a c2c project, it is so much fun!! The part I procrastinated on the most was weaving in the many, many tail ends from all the color changes. For a beginner I would suggest using a yarn cake with different colors such as Mandala or Bernat pop, that way you don’t have to weave in so many ends your first time. 😊 I would love to see your projects, you can leave a comment below or contact me through the contact form!! Happy Crocheting!!! ❤
Have you heard of the c2c (corner 2 corner) crochet? It is a small cluster of double crochets and starts from one corner and finishes at another.
I am actually working on my first c2c blanket that I graphed out myself on the Microsoft Excel app for mobile. Two Hearts Crochet is the tutorial I used to do my graph, I hope you find it as helpful as it was for me!
Here is my work in progress, its going to be my daughters name with a cat in the middle (she loves kitty cats).
So far I am loving the c2c and hope you all get encouraged to give it try!
You may have noticed the plastic bag in the photo, I just made this today to keep my yarn more organized. I just poked 3 holes an taped around the holes to keep it from tearing. I could even poke more holes if I decided to do more colors 😊 this will do for now!
Until I can get my hands on one of these bad boys, which can be found on the always amazing Amazon.
I will post a picture of the finished blanket in the gallery, so keep an eye out! If you have any questions feel free to contact me! Thank you for reading!!
